This Guy Is a World Champion Whistler. Listen to What He Can Do.

Ever wondered what sets the pro's apart from the amateurs?

Cassie Delaney

Ever wondered what it takes to be a world champion whistler? No? Me neither.

Frankly, the fact that there would be world champion whistlers has never crossed my mind. Surely whistling is a fairly standard practice?

Wrong.

Aforementioned world champion whistler, Christopher Ullman, believes whistling is an art form. Speaking to National Geographic, he says what sets amateur whistlers apart from champion whistlers is, namely, technique and range.

Ullman also adopts a stick regime in the lead up to his whistling championships.

“There are many ways to keeps one’s lips conditioned. I don’t kiss for example 24 hours before a performance because kissing makes your lips mushy and we cannot have mushy lips and be a champion. I drink ice water and perhaps most importantly is my best friend; chapstick”.

And now we know.
