It’s pretty much a guarantee that amongst your selection boxes, packets of fluffy socks and flannel PJs, that at least one person in your family will receive a Lynx gift set.
They’re the stocking filler essential that every mammy picks up as part of the household shop, and it’s a not so subtle hint at making sure the men in your life have no excuses after hours watching TV, playing their video games, or coming in from the gym.
So when one young man took to Twitter earlier this week, he thought he was just having a bit of social media fun when he decided to run a poll asking followers what Lynx gift set his mum would purchase this festive season:

It’s all fun and games until your mum spies your tweet though… so she decided to have the last laugh. On Christmas morning, Joseph Murray was back on Twitter – this time to show off his mum’s revenge. Not only did she gift him with the winning set from the poll, she decided to print off his tweet and use it to design some homemade wrapping paper:
