A family whose pet dog ran away on the fourth of July has been reunited with it this week.
Dora, who is a German Shepherd mix, reportedly ran away when she got scared by fireworks last summer.
Her owners, the O’Bryan family, searched all over the place for weeks and weeks but to no avail.
Seven months later, and with the help of a microchip, a Collin County animal control officer found Dora and brought her to an animal shelter to be reunited with her family.
