Fernandos, Film Awards and a Flick That Never Gets Old: The Best of Tonight’s TV

As well as the cream of the Irish film crop there will be dancing, dates and drama on the small screen tonight...

From Fernandos to the red carpet to Kellerman’s holiday resort, you’re in for a few telly treats this evening!

Take Me Out – UTV (8.05pm)

Host Paddy McGuinness will be helping a line-dancing teacher, a professional football player, a motorsport event manager and a student find a date.

 

Dirty Dancing – TV3 (9.00pm)

It’s the film that all women love and it’s on this evening. Jennifer Grey plays a young woman who falls for a dance instructor (Patrick Swayze) while on holiday.

 

The Irish Film and Television Awards – RTÉ One (9.35pm)

The stars are coming out in force for this year’s IFTAs but who will be celebrating at the end of the night. You’ll have to watch it to find out!

 

The Jonathan Ross Show – UTV (9.20pm)

John C Reilly, Hayley Atwell, Brian Cox and Adam Ant will be chatting to Jonathan on the sofa this week. Pop duo Hurts will also be performing.

 

Harry Brown – RTÉ Two (9.30pm)

Michael Caine stars in this crime thriller as a retired widower who takes the law into his own hands when his best friend is murdered by a local gang.
