Chat show host Ellen Degeneres was celebrating her beloved wife Portia de Rossi’s birthday on Friday last, so in true Ellen style she made it a very public, and very funny display.
Portia was in the audience for this recreation of Portia’s life and how the couple met, and while Ellen played her other half, actor Sean Hayes stepped in to play Ellen in a hilarious cameo.
Ellen then brought Portia on the set to say: “The last eight years of my life have been the happiest, best years of my life.”
She continued: “You’re amazing, I love you, happy birthday”, before showing some snaps and clips of the pair together.
