Meet Cosmo. Adorable Dublin family dog, and would-be movie star.
This incredible series of snaps come to us courtesy of Sarah Blake Knox, a 26-year-old television researcher from Dublin. Gorgeous Cosmo joined her family just over a year ago as a surprise Christmas gift from Sarah’s mother to her father, and Sarah tells us: “Ever since then, we have been taking pictures non stop of him, he seems to enjoy posing!”
Four months ago, Sarah decided to share her fun and creative snaps of Cosmo online. She explains: “A couple of months back, as a joke, I dressed him up as ‘The Elephant Man’ (a costume consisting of a pillow case and a fedora) and sent the picture on to some friends. So many people liked and commented on it, I decided to start a collection of photos.”
That collection of photos can now be seen on Cosmo Does… a Tumblr site where you can see Cosmo reenact scenes from such screen classics as Fantasia, Rocky, Groundhog Day and many more. Sarah has thirty pictures posted to date, but says she is planning many more, telling Her.ie: “The next two planned are Harry Potter and Marty McFly from ‘Back to the Future’.”
On the site Sarah makes it clear that Cosmo is happy to participate and well rewarded, saying: “Don’t worry – he will always be rewarded for his dedication to this blog with lots of treats and bed hogging sessions.”
Keep up with new additions to the collection on Cosmo’s Tumblr site here, and Facebook page here.
