From a group of celebrities baking up a storm in the kitchen to a man who thinks it would be nice to get married on a football pitch, tonight’s television picks will make you smile if nothing else!

The Great Comic Relief Bake Off – BBC Two (8.00pm)

In the last of the series television presenter Claudia Winkleman, comedian Ed Byrne, broadcaster Martha Kearney and Olympic medallist Helen Glover will be baking chocolate biscuits and lemon meringue pie.

 

Adoption Stories – TV3 (8.30pm)

John Kiely, a 40-year-old man from County Clare, embarks on a journey to find his biological mother after the official channels fail to do so.

 

New Girl – RTÉ Two (8.35pm)

In tonight’s episode of the comedy series Jess desperately wants to have a bathtub in the apartment while Schmidt is keen to get closer to Cece despite having a girlfriend and Nick meets a woman in a bar.

 

Silent Witness – BBC One (9.00pm)

A pub landlady is stabbed to death leaving the team conflicted over whether her husband was the culprit.

 

Don’t Tell the Bride – RTÉ Two (9.30pm)

This week Steven McGuill is planning his wedding to Ciara Neasy but while she is hoping for a traditional and sophisticated day, he has other ideas in mind including a football pitch.
