She has done the whole singing thing and now Jessica Simpson is turning her hand to script-writing.
The former pop star is said to be penning a pilot for a television show but that’s not all, the story will be based on her own life.
Jessica is writing a television show based on her own life.
She told the Hollywood Reporter: “I often find myself thinking that no one could ever make up the things that actually happen in my life – so between the real-life elements and a great team of writers, I think we’ll have people laughing!”
Jessica will be hoping the episode, which is reportedly being pitched to NBC, will be made into a television series.
She’s no stranger to television having starred in her own reality show.
Fingers crossed this show, unlike her reality programme with former hubby Nick Lachey (Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica for those of you who didn’t catch it or just couldn’t remember), has a happier ending!
