EastEnders has an hour-long episode planned for Halloween which will concentrate on the Mitchell family.
Viewers will know that Kathy Beale’s husband Gavin turned up last month and he’s currently exerting control over Phil Mitchell.

Chatting to Digital Spy about the upcoming storyline, Harry Reid who plays Ben said: “We have to remember he [Gavin] was Ben’s stepdad and father figure for years.
“He grew up with him and there will be a lot of love there.
“Ben came back a happy child, so you think Gavin is a perfect dad as he helped create that kid. There’s a real connection there between them, having spent time together and loved each other”.

Speaking about the storyline that’s set to unfold next week, Harry revealed that it will be a shocker.
“It’s bad. It’s really bad. It’s potentially life-changing for the Square, for the Mitchell family – and you will be shocked”.
It sounds like fans of the show might want to tune in for the episode on Friday October 30th.
