The winter nights are quickly approaching, and while we might be murdered for suggesting the onset of Christmas, the chill is definitely starting to settle in.
So despite the onslaught of party season, we’ve got to admit that the prospect of taking a few Saturday nights to curl up on the couch with a bottle of wine doesn’t sound too bad as a break from our usual party planning.
Why wax, shave and tan when you can stretch out in flannels and order take-away?
Add to this some spooning (and possible other pursuits) from another half, and we’ve got a nice recipe for a tempting night-in.

There’s only one catch… we might not have a significant other for our winter wrap-up.
Enter ‘cuffing season’ – where you could be settling with a partner so you can settle in for the night.
Not sure what we mean?
Well, the trend sees singletons hooking up with a potential partner so they can be ‘cuffed’ or tied into a relationship while the cold weather forces you to stay indoors for comfort and weather conditions.

Forget the queues of Coppers and need for heels, instead opt for jammies and slippers in front of the TV.
Not exactly the most romantic of proposals, although we could probably be persuaded to give it a shot if pizza and wine are on the menu.
Just make sure you’re not caught swiping right on Tinder while vegging out on the couch.
