The website for the Central College in Limerick was hacked this week with a message purporting to be from ISIS.
The statement on the website reads: “This website has been hacked by the Islamic State in Sysria (ISIS)… Ireland expect us [sic].”
Text reportedly in Arabic follows underneath, along with an image of a man with a flag below.
The message remained on site at time of writing, with a number of users taking to Twitter about the incident, noting the spelling error in the word ‘Syria’.
Hat tip to Sarah Neville for sending this our way.
