You’re curled up on the couch, you’re rubbing your tender tummy and you’re clutching on to a cup of tea. You’re dreading the moment when you will either have to drag yourself from the couch to buy more time-of-the-month provisions or try and persuade your other half or your mother to do so…
Fear not, the old days of period suffering are over.
A new tampon delivery service called Le Parcel has launched.
For $15 (€11.45) a month, customers can select a combination of 30 products from brands including Tampax, Playtex and Kotex.
Come “that time of the month”, a parcel will arrive through the door, complete with the supplies, a box of chocolates and a mystery gift like makeup or jewellery.
The LA-based company claims that women will “look forward to that time of the month more than ever”.
Users can indicate when in the month they would like their parcel to arrive so it works with their monthly cycle.
Le Parcel’s website states: “Say farewell to late night runs to the market for tampons or opening up the closet to find and empty box.
Gone are the dreadful days of having your significant other ‘pick up’ a box of pads at the store on the way home.”

That time of the month will never be the same again…
The startup was founded by Amanda Castleberry, Megan Hollenback and Elise Capener along with their husbands.
The entrepreneurs told the Daily Mail: “The response has been extremely positive. We receive hundreds of emails from women all over the world expressing their appreciation.”
Indeed one Facebook commentator wrote: “This idea is freaking brilliant! I’m excited to receive my first shipment. Thanks, ladies!”
While another added: “Why didn’t someone think of this before?! I can’t wait to start my subscription!”
Le Parcel is currently shipping to the US and Canada…
We’re counting down the days until it expands to Ireland!
