Actress Kellie Shirley has welcomed twins, a boy and girl, named Louie and Pearl.
Speaking to Hello magazine, the former Eastenders star revealed that she underwent a Caesarean section after developing an infection.
In conversation with the publication, Kellie said: “I was completely out of it, partly down to the medication and temperature and partly because I’d had no sleep”.
The 32-year-old came around when she heard her babies crying with her husband telling her that she had delivered a baby boy and a baby girl.
Kellie, whom Eastenders fans will remember as Shirley’s daughter Carly Wicks, previously said that she would donate her umbilical cord blood to the Anthony Nolan foundation.
