Leather nails may be one of the biggest beauty crazes to hit the high-street this winter but according to beauty experts, 2013 will be all about the concrete manicure.

After Alexa Chung’s stepped out wearing Nails Inc’s gothic leather matte effect nail polish, the stuff sold out in seconds. And now, the talon trendsetters have unveiled their newest effect – the concrete manicure – and they’re expecting to do just as well (if not better) than the leather polish.

According to Nails Inc, the concrete manicure adds a certain “urban appeal” to its brand of nail polishes and, like the leather polish, it gives the wearer an interesting look. Check it out:

When the concrete polish dries, it has a matte, concrete-like finish and Nails Inc are claiming that it is the perfect polish to pair with the military trend in fashion.

The concrete collection comes in four different shades: London Wall (a neutral grey), Marble Arch (a vibrant red), Monument (a bright yellow) and Stonehenge (a shocking electric blue).

Another nail trend that’s set to be absolutely huge next year is the reptile manicure created by nail giants Essie. Their new polish has a striking, reptile-skin-like finish.

We don’t know about you, but we definitely think we’re going to have to rock the reptile manicure in 2013. What about you?
