An artist has decided to paint a portrait of Donald Trump – using her menstrual blood for her medium.
Sarah Levy, who describes herself as a journalist, activist and artist, told Buzzfeed that she had waited for her period to create the artpiece dedicated to one of Trump’s biggest campaign fails to date.
The presidential candidate, who implied a female journalist Megyn Kelly was on her period while asking him tough questions, has drawn anger and controversy over his stance on women’s rights and US immigration.
Speaking about her decision to paint the portrait, Sarah said:
“That he thinks he can bring up the healthy functioning of women’s reproductive systems to insult women’s intelligence is a big problem that I think needs to be called out.”
Sarah now plans to sell the piece, with all profits going to a pro-immigration organisation.
The only downside we can see is that Sarah had admitted that the blood has turned from vibrant red to a stale brown…
