What David Beckham Has Secretly Been Doing Might Lead To A BIG Career Change

The footballer is reportedly taking "baby steps".

It’s no secret that David Beckham has been eyeing up the role of James Bond… 

But according to reports, he may be more serious about pursuing acting than we expected.

David has expressed an interest in acting in the past. 

The football icon has apparently been getting private acting lessons from family friend and Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise.

A source reportedly told the Daily Star: “David has been secretly getting tips from Tom for several years now. “Tom sees David as a very loyal and trusted friend, and is willing to help him fulfil his dreams.

“Tom feels that David has a great screen look and charisma which could work for movies.”

David with Victoria and their four children. 

“David resisted at first, but over time has become more comfortable with acting. Tom has been advising him on learning dialogue and the methods of talking to fellow actors.

“It is baby steps but vital for Becks to get his experience.”

David and Tom have been friends for some time. 

The 40-year-old heartthrob has expressed an interest in the past, and played a cameo role in the short movie Outlaws.

Speaking about his aspirations in area, he told The Times Newspaper: ”I am very aware that many sportsmen and other celebrities have turned their hand to acting and failed. But what I have done so far I have loved.”
