Less than a week after season one landed, streaming giants Netflix have confirmed a second season of gritty crime drama Narcos.
Based on the gripping real-life stories of the drug kingpins of the late 1980s and the efforts of law enforcement to meet them head on in brutal, bloody conflict, Narcos has already proved a major hit with viewers.
The show stars Brazilian actor Wagner Moura (Elite Squad) as the notorious Pablo Escobar alongside Boyd Holbrook (Gone Girl) and Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones) as real-life DEA agents Steve Murphy and Javier Peña.
Adam Fierro has been confirmed as the Season 2 showrunner & executive producer, while Jose Padilha and Eric Newman will also serve as executive producers.
