That’s according to new research this week.
It’s often the fall back excuse for anything you might have done the night before that you may be feeling a bit embarrassed about but now, new research has shown that there is actually no solid basis to the ‘beer goggles’ excuse.
Researchers from the University of Bristol have stated that the influence of alcohol does not actually affect whether we find someone more attractive or not.
After conducting research out and about on Friday and Saturday nights, they measured people’s alcohol intake before asking them to rate a number of different faces.
“We found no evidence for a relationship between alcohol consumption and perception of attractiveness,” they revealed.
