A Little Princess (1995)
Liesel Matthews and Eleanor Bron star in this film about a young girl who is sent away to boarding school when her father goes missing. It’s not an obvious one but we always watch it at this time of year.
Best Moment: It tugs on the heartstrings but it has to be when she makes friends with the family across the road.
Interesting Fact: This film is based on an 1905 novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett.
