It’s pretty annoying for your fellow passengers, especially at rush hour in a crowded carriage but for one lucky (or un-lucky) commuter train in London, not only was their drunken busker accompanied by a guitar, it turns out the drunken busker was none other than 80s pop sensation Kim Wilde and her songwriter brother Ricky.
The now retired singer serenaded her fellow passengers to a slurred version of ‘Kids In America’ -the hit song that launched her career all those years ago – followed by ‘Rockin Around The Christmas Tree’ as Kim and her brother, travelled home from a Magic FM Christmas party.
Captured on camera by Katherine Eames, the druken duo are probably morto and our own reaction is somewhere between epic fail and festive genius but we do love her rant mid-song about five minutes in.
If only something equally exciting would happen on the Dart or Luas… we wonder if Ronan Keating is around for Christmas…
