2012 was the year that the world went a bit mental for the musical phenomenon that was Gangnam Style. Released by the Korean musician Psy, it was a song that most of us couldn’t understand but, by God, was it catchy.
Back in October, the tune officially became the most watched video of all time on YouTube, racking up over 946million views. Why? Well, the video itself features one of the most hilarious dance moves we’ve ever seen. Dubbed the ‘horse trot’ the dance became just as popular as the song itself.
Anyway, needless to say, Gangnam Style spawned hundreds of parody videos. Here are five of our favourites…
5. Sewerman Style:
Thames Water, the people in charge of keeping London’s sewers in tip-top condition, decided to make their own Gangnam Style parody in order to educate people about the dangers of washing turkey fat down their sinks over Christmas. Nice.
4. Lifeguard Style:
We love this video, however the sad thing is that every single lifeguard who appeared in it was subsequently fired. They’re currently waiting to see if city hall will reinstate them in January 2013.
3. Baby Style:
One of the best things about Gangnam Style is probably the fact that, for some inexplicable reason, babies love it. This parody is hilarious!
2. Famer Style:
And you thought farmer was just making hay and milking cows? Think again!

Lads, for the time of year that’s in it, it just seemed fitting to include the ever-catchy parody of Gangnam Style done by the bearded man himself – Santa Claus.
