We couldn’t believe it either but apparently filming has begun on a ninth Harry Potter film despite the franchise finishing up last year.
According to The Sun a mini film is being shot but unfortunately it won’t be hitting the big screen. It will be shown exclusively at the Harry Potter theme parks.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 came out last year.
A source told the newspaper that the cast, including Helena Bonham Carter, are enjoying working together again: “The cast have really enjoyed getting back together – they are so tight-knit.”
The final product will be shown at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida and also, when they are completed, at two new theme parks in California and Japan.

The ninth film will only be seen by those who visit the theme parks.
Compared to the feature length films, this latest one is little buns as the insider explained: “The shooting schedule is nowhere near as long as the films, so though filming has been intense, the stars have enjoyed being able to pop in and out.”
Now so, we just need to get some plane tickets, a hotel in Florida, and entrance to the theme park. Guess we’ll start saving!
