Alexander Pacteau has reportedly pleaded guilty to the murder of Cork student Karen Buckley in April of this year.
The 21-year-old appeared at a sitting of the High Court in Glasgow this morning.
According to BBC News, he is charged with murdering the 24-year-old nursing student who disappeared outside a nightclub in the early hours of the morning of April 12th this year.
Karen was on a night out with friends who raised the alarm when she failed to return home.
A four-day search took place before the body of the Cork student was found on a farm north of Glasgow.
