Now that she’s had her hair and her spray tan done, I’m A Celebrity’s Helen Flanagan is tackling the next thing on her ‘To Do’ list: convincing people that she is more than just a pretty face who finds it hard to keep her emotions under control.
The Coronation Street actress has revealed, during an exclusive interview with heat, that there is a very good reason for her slightly kooky behaviour.

Helen went on an emotional rollercoaster in the jungle.
“I know I can appear a bit bonkers, but I’m honestly not! I suffer from bipolar and attention deficit disorder, and that can make me a bit impulsive,” the 22-year-old explained.
Helen became known for being very emotional and rather ditsy in the jungle, something that she insists isn’t a true reflection of her personality: “I’ve got really good GCSEs though, and I’m a deep thinker.”

Rivals in soapworld, campmates in the show: Helen and Charlie.
While many grew to like the young star, including those on the camp and ourselves, she wasn’t exactly everyone’s cup of tea.
Speaking about her somewhat turbulent relationship with the winner of this year’s show, Charlie Brooks, Helen said: “When Charlie said I was being a drama queen, that did hurt me because I seriously wasn’t being a drama queen. I was anxious and petrified on the tasks.
“In the camp, Charlie and me got on OK. I think she’s a lovely person, she’s really charismatic. But we are very different types of people and I think that came through on the show,” she added.
Despite her terrible attempts at the Bushtucker Trials and her constant pouting and lip-plumping, we do miss watching her on the show. Although we also have the feeling that we could be seeing a lot of her in its aftermath!
