Charlize Theron adopted a baby girl last month, according to media reports.
The 39-year old actress has taken custody of an African-American girl.
The Monster actress has reportedly named her daughter August, expanding her little family to three.
According to TMZ, Charlize has worked for six months with an adoption agency in the US, following a rigorous administration process.
This is Charlize’s second adoption, after she adopted three-year old Jackson from her native South Africa in 2012.
The news comes just a month after the actress called time on her relationship with fellow Oscar winner Sean Penn after their recent trip to the Cannes Film Festival in May.
The pair, who were friends for years before their friendship blossomed into romance, were rumoured to have become engaged during a trip to Paris in December 2014, but Theron was never spotted wearing a ring.
