Now that’s what we call clever.
One Irish lad was certainly loving life at the Tour de France at the weekend, and all the more so thanks to this genius – and extremely simple – idea.
Neville Casserly from Westmeath was over at the cycling event enjoying the sun, before he came up against the age-old problem of how to keep his beer cold.
Not one to be easily deterred and in true Irish fashion, Neville found a solution to the problem fairly quickly, using the stream that ran near the Irish Corner to keep everything cool.

“It was the only way I had to keep my beer cold in 30 degree heat!” Neville told us.
“It was a stream that ran the whole way down near the Irish corner and it did the trick!”
Good thinking Neville… nicely done!
