Married At First Sight has gripped us in the Her.ie offices so we are only too delighted to hear that it will be coming back.
According to reports Channel 4 has commissioned a second series of the somewhat controversial documentary.
Applicants for the show went through a series of tests before a group of singletons were selected to try to create the perfect relationship.
Speaking previously about the show, chief creative officer Jay Hunt defended the show against critics.
She said: “It says marriage is important because of social cohesion. We don’t have a great track record in that area.”
“What if we take a slightly different approach and at its heart is the idea that we make the biggest decision of our life based on gut instinct and what if you got an array of experts to help inform that decision and you would be more likely to make the right choice?”
