Rumours have it The Jacksons could be stepping into the studio with will.i.am for their comeback album which is due out next year.
Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Tito are set to release a new record next year and the Black Eyed Peas singer, who had been working on an album with Michael before his death in 2009, could be helping them.
The Jackson 5 were one of the biggest boy bands back in the 70s.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, Jackie said: “We’re gonna do what people want to hear – The Jacksons, but we’re also going to add the new elements of today’s generation with that music as well, from the heart and soul.”
When asked whether they would be working with The Voice UK mentor, he refused to give a straight answer: “I can’t give anything away yet… We’re talking to a lot of people, and we love surprises, so can’t say anymore.”
Apparently will.i.am is helping the group with their comeback album.
The four brothers are heading for Europe at the start of next year for their Unity tour and according to Tito, are looking forward to being on the stage again: “It’s exciting to play these tunes once again and play them for the people and play the music that we love to sing and play.”
