When Luke Samson decided to put up one of his usual funny status updates on Facebook, he never thought it would end with him stripping in his local cinema.
Gearing up for the action packed sequel to the Magic Mike franchise, the 25-year old posted a daring promise to his social media account, promising:
“1,000 likes and I’ll jump on the stage at Cineworld Eastbourne and do a full strip routine through Magic Mike XXL @ 8.30.”
After receiving more than 1,600 likes, he knew what he had to do…
According to Metro UK, Luke wasn’t expecting his challenge to receive such support:
“If anything it started off as a joke, I’m known for silly statuses and thought it would be a laugh. I thought 1000 likes was an unrealistic amount and wouldn’t get that much – I never thought it would happen.
“I’m glad I did it as it has made a lot of people laugh,’ he said. ‘I certainly wouldn’t say no to doing it again.”
