There’s changes afoot at Twitter HQ once more and this time around, they want to know your birthday.
The social media site is now allowing users to share their birthday with followers, but it’s not so you can get loads of love on your big day.
Instead, it will help to filter the advertisements that are coming through on your Twitter feed.
Now, it will be easier for Twitter to group target demographics together and of course, to get followers to send you a happy birthday tweet*.
*This is not the reason.
Sure at the end of the day, isn’t that what it’s all about?!
