The average time people spend on Facebook on a daily basis has been revealed this week and to be honest, we thought it would be a lot higher.
According to analysts working for investment bank and assets management firm Needham, people around the world spend an average of just 20 minutes a day on Facebook.
The analysts, who were citing data from Digital Analysis company comScore, stated that the 1.44 billion plus users spend 20 minutes checking out what’s going on in their friends’ lives.
This is in direct comparison to Mark Zuckerberg’s estimation that US users spend 40 minutes per day on the site.
