Voters In Greece Reject Terms of International Bailout

Results from the referendum in Greece show that voters have rejected the terms of the international bailout.

According to BBC News, almost all of the ballots have now been counted and figures that have been provided by the interior ministry show that approximately 62% of votes counted are ‘No’ votes.

So far, 38% have voted in favour, or ‘Yes’, of the conditions.

“Today we celebrate the victory of democracy, but tomorrow all together we continue and complete a national effort for exiting this crisis,” said Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras in a nationwide address today.
