Nicky Byrne can breathe a sigh of relief this morning after surviving last night’s vigorous dance off in Wembley Arena.
The singer and his partner Karen Hauer landed themselves in Strictly Come Dancing‘s bottom two and had it out with TV presenter Richard Arnold and dancer Erin Boag for a chance to remain in the competition.
Lucky for Nicky, the judges opted to save his dance duo from the boot.
Speaking after his elimination Arnold said: “I’ve loved it. Do you know what is amazing about this experience is that this party is happening in millions of homes around the country.

“The one thing I’ll take from it is that now when I walk down the street people no longer cross the road to avoid me!
“Now they smile, they want to chat. It’s been amazing. You guys here have been amazing.
“I always thought I’d miss the wardrobe most, but I don’t think I will, I will miss Erin Boag, who – every Monday – it’s like climbing a mountain, and every Monday she’d say ‘Welcome to another week’. I’ll miss that on Monday,” he said.
Her.ie is glad Nicky lives to dance another week but he and Karen better up their game if they want their hands on the crown.
