Pudsey, Pitching and Plenty of Drama:The Best of Tonight’s TV

The weather might not be great outside but these shows will help to put a smile on your face…

Children in Need – BBC One (7.30pm)

Terry Wogan will host this incredible evening of entertainment which seeks to raise money for disadvantaged kids. From One Direction to Strictly Come Dancing, it really does have something that will suit the whole family.

Modern Family – Sky One (8.00pm)

Jay might well get out of going shopping but he might wish he had gone when his ex-wife turns up on his doorstep in tonight’s episode of the comedy. Also, Phil and Claire call on Mitch when Haley is arrested for underage drinking.

Mad Men – RTÉ Two (9.00pm)

While Dan gets a team together for an important pitch, Peggy decides she has had enough and Megan prepares for an audition that could change everything for her. And remember to stay tuned as it’s a double bill.

The Lovely Bones – More4 (9.00pm)

Saoirse Ronan and Mark Wahlberg star in this film based on the best-selling novel by Alice Sebold. A 14-year-old girl is murdered but she is able to watch as her family struggle with their grief and search for the killer.

Alan Carr: Chatty Man – Channel 4 (10.00pm)

This week, Alan is joined by comedian John Bishop and Julia Davis as well as Melanie C, Emma Bunton and Gery Halliwell from the Spice Girls. Singer Rita Ora will also be performing her latest single Shine Ya Light.
