He might look like a bit of a rocker but it seems that Robert Pattinson likes a bit of pop music, and not just any pop music, he loves Westlife’s music.
According the Irish Daily Mirror the Twilight star, who is currently promoting the final film in the franchise, revealed that the Irish boy band are one of his favourite acts.
Robert said he would jump at the chance of joining the boy band.
When asked which group he would love to join, the 26-year-old immediately answered Westlife, saying: “They’re one of my favourite bands.”
When Nicky Byrne heard this, he was quick to reply to the statement: “So Robert Pattinson’s favourite band is Westlife. Good man Rob. Wonder if he is voting for me on Strictly too?”
On hearing the news, Nicky asked if Robert was also voting for him on Strictly.
It sounds as if Robert would also be well able to join Nicky and the other boys in the studio as he was a keen musician before hitting the big screen.
In fact, rumours have it he could be in with a chance of signing a recording deal in the not too distant future.
Perhaps a duet with his favourite band could be on the cards? We would certainly like to see it!
