While she is most famous for creating the story which led to the Twilight film franchise, Stephanie Meyer has another book-to-film project coming soon.
The Host, which was her most successful novel for adults before Twilight made it big, has been made into a film and the trailer for it has gone online today.
Stephanie’s books seem to suit the big screen.
It is based in a world where another species have wiped out the human race. Saoirse Ronan plays one of the few humans left, Melanie Stryder.
She soon meets another, Jared Howe played by Max Irons, and falls in love. But things soon become complicated when Stryder gets taken in by the other species and her body is implanted with a vacant, alien soul.
However it doesn’t appear to be strong enough to erase Stryder’s memories and links to the outside world completely.
