They are usually singing along to a backing track and jumping around in their videos but for their song Little Things, One Direction have gone back to basics.
The acoustic ballad has all the sentiment of What Makes You Beautiful but just without the upbeat tempo.
And the black and white video is exactly the same. It simply focuses on the five boys just singing and playing guitar in the studio.
The lads jump all over the place in the video for What Makes You Beautiful.
Speaking about it to MTV News, director Vaughan Arnell said: “When I first heard the track, the mix on it was so simple and so pure and you could hear all the qualities of the voices on the track.”
He added: “I just wanted to come up with something that when the viewer watched it, it was almost like sitting there listening to the boys sing the track.”
We have no doubt the track, and the album Take Me Home which is out on November 16th, will get more than a few teenage hearts fluttering…
