Well, we have to hand it to Russell Brand – he’s full of perseverance. What are we talking about? Well apparently the comedian is trying (yet again) to make amends with his ex-wife Katy Perry.
According to reports, Russell is deeply upset over how things went down with Katy over the past few months and he’s desperate to show her that he’s sorry for his not-so-nice behaviour since they split.
It’s nice of him to try and apologise, but we don’t think we’d be so forgiving if he referred to us as an “arse ache” like he did with Katy in fairness.
Russell, who finalised his divorce back in July, apparently bought Katy an expensive gold cuff bracelet and a hand-made meditation cushion for her 28th birthday, with the hope that his former wife would see he was trying to make amends. But will Katy accept his attempt at an apology?
“Even though they’ve broken up, Russell wanted to send Katy something. He thought it would be nice to let her know he’s thinking of her,” said a source, speaking to The Sun.

Katy celebrated her birthday by performing for US President Barack Obama at his Las Vegas rally and then had lunch with Michelle Obama.
“Tonight was a great night! The PRESIDENT gave grandma and I unforgettable shout outs and now I am officially 28! Best. Birthday. Ever,” Katy tweeted.
“Thank you all for making me feel so special today. I’m overwhelmed with all the love that I might have a small happy cry now. So blessed,” she added.
