Shane Filan has apparently declined an offer to be on Ant and Dec’s reality show I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
According to reports today the former Westlife star was approached about appearing on the ITV programme, which starts next month, but has said no.

The show involves living in the jungle and eating creepy-crawlies.
His manager Louis Walsh told the Irish Daily Star that Shane is focusing on his music career: “Reality TV is not his thing. He doesn’t want to be a celebrity, he wants to be a recording artist!
“He’s concentrating on putting a solo album together and is looking for songs and talking to producers,” the X Factor judge added. Guess he isn’t afraid of the pressure that Kian Egan spoke about then!

Shane wants to concentrate on getting back in the studio and releasing an album.
While Shane isn’t keen on going down under, there are a few familiar faces in the frame for the jungle-based show including Coronation Street’s Helen Flanagan and star of Birds of a Feather Linda Robson.
