Even though we all heard about Britney’s nerves soon after her first live episode of the US X Factor, she was coolly professional on air and it looked like she’s been there a million times before.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the new host Khloe Kardashian.
The reality television star just couldn’t seem to handle the microphone.
Khloe, adding to her reality TV credentials, was paired with Mario Lopez as the X Factor singing contest shifted from taped to live broadcasts.
Mario, host of Extra, performed like the professional he is.
Khloe, in comparison, shouted her lines despite the microphone clutched awkwardly in her hand and made even more awkward small talk with contestants and judge Simon Cowell.
We can’t say he was too impressed.
Of the 16 acts featured on the live X Factor, four will be cut by judges Britney, Simon, Antonio LA Reid and Demi Lovato. It’s a similar twist to what the UK X Factor experienced last year.
Viewers will decide contestants’ fates in the following weeks.
It looks like Khloe and Mario get on well, shame about Khloe’s nerves!
