“My Co-Star is a Moody Bitch!” Says Downton Abbey’s Hugh Bonneville

Well, we never thought we’d ever hear Downton Abbey’s Hugh Bonneville say a bad word against one of his co-stars, but according to the actor there’s one female cast member who is an absolute bitch. Shock, shock, horror!

Now before you go jumping to conclusions, we should probably tell you that Hugh is actually referring to the pooch that plays his dog Isis in the show. Yes, really.

Apparently the canine has a major attitude and Hugh revealed that she regularly delays filming because she won’t leave her plush trailer. The actor stated that the dog made filming an uphill struggle.

When he was asked what his hardest scenes in the drama were, the actor responded: “For me, it’s any scene involving Isis the dog.”

“She’s a moody little bitch. She rarely comes out of her trailer and demands snacks at all times,” he added.

Hugh has admitted that he finds it hard working with his co-star Isis the dog

Isis has become a major hit with fans of the show and is regularly seen by Hugh’s side on the programme, so unfortunately we imagine Hugh will have to make peace with his furry sidekick for the foreseeable future.

The actor also admitted that nothing has been discussed about making a fourth series of the drama.

“A new series has not yet been confirmed. I have no idea. There is a demand,” said Hugh.

“I’d be surprised if we did not do another one. Julian Fellowes, the writer, has so many stories,” he added.
