A strike by drivers at Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann will go ahead this weekend and is set to cause chaos for commuters.
The strike action will be held this Friday and Saturday with commuters being advised to plan an alternative route to work on Friday morning.
Taxi fares are also set to rise from today, while Irish Rail are reportedly carrying out line improvement works on Saturday and Sunday.
Meanwhile a second two-day bus strike is scheduled to take place on Friday, May 15th and Saturday, May 16th.
