If you’re anything like us, you spend a lot of time imagining your dream home. A whole lot of time indeed.
To satisfy our desire to see what our perfect home would actually look like, we’ve done some research and picked out some of the most luxurious rooms in the world. Only the very best will do for our perfect pad.
Take a sneak peek inside some of the rooms in our dream home below, and make sure to let us know what luxuries would be top of your list!
1. Pools, pools and more pools
Swimming pools, infinity pools, jacuzzis, hot tubs, steam rooms and saunas. We want lots and lots of options in our dream home. For our indoor pool, we’d model it after this gold-lined beauty that you can find in a luxury resort in Tibet.

2. The ultimate wine cellar
Because a gal’s got to have access to an unlimited supply of fine wines right in her home. The below collection comes to a slightly ridiculous 10,000 bottles, and you can find it in The Ritz Carlton, Hong Kong. That should sit nicely under our dream house.

3. Luxurious floor to ceiling libraries
Because a girl’s got to have a decent place to stick her nose in a book. Lots and lots of books. We couldn’t choose between the below two designs, so we just figure we’ll put one on either side of the house. And at least one bookshelf in each of them will lead to a secret room. That’s an essential in every dream home.

4. The dreamiest walk-in wardrobes
Only double doors will do. The world of the rich and famous is full of impressive closets, but Carrie’s decadent dressing room has a very special place in our hearts. We’ll never understand how or why she walked away from this little piece of heaven, because to us, it’s pure and utter perfection.

5. The cosiest, comfiest at home cinema
Because a girl’s got to keep herself entertained in the most sumptuous surroundings available. We imagine that we’d spend quite a lot of time in this magnificent movie room. Snacking on freshly popped popcorn from the massive popcorn machine in the corner. Heavenly.

6. The bathrooms to end all bathrooms
Every one of our 15 bedrooms would come with an adjoining luxury ensuite, complete with full-time facialists and masseurs. A girl’s got to be pampered after all. The below would be part of our master suite.
And our showers would look at little something like this. All of the jets.
This is getting a mention simply because we’ve always dreamed of having an elevator in our house. There’s no particular reason for having this, but let’s be honest, what’s a dream home without a totally unnecessary lift?
The light, the space, the islands, the windows. This is just gorgeous. Of course we’d also have a couple of different of chefs on standby to cook in this beautiful room. And a staff of cleaners on standby to keep it shiny and beautiful.
8. An awesome aquarium
That’s right, a big, massive aquarium. Again, there’s no particular reason for this. We just fancy bringing a bit of the under water world into our home. And this one looks pretty incredible.
