EastEnders has confirmed that Kristian Kiehling has left the show.
His character Aleks Shirovs left Albert Square in last night’s episode and now it has been revealed that he won’t be returning.
A spokesperson told Digital Spy: “We can confirm that Aleks has now left Walford. We wish Kristian all the best for the future.”

Bosses decided to keep his exit under wraps in order to make it a surprise for the viewers.
Kristian joined the cast last year. In recent weeks his onscreen alter ego has been having some relationship problems.
After finding out that Roxy Mitchell had cheated on him with her brother-in-law Charlie Cotton, he decided to leave the Square with his wife and daughter.
