Imagine you are walking on a beautiful beach. Wind blowing through your hair, the salty air in your nostrils and the soft lap of waves as they hit the shore.
Now imagine that a huge creepy blue eyeball floats along beside you.
This is what happened to a Florida man, who was enjoying a long walk on the beach as we all do from time to time.

The unusual eye which is the size of a baseball and deep blue in colour has baffled scientists who can’t figure out which creature is missing their beloved peeper.
According to The Sun Sentinel, Gino Covacci, who found the eyeball said: “It was very, very fresh. It was still bleeding when I put it in the plastic bag.”
The giant eye is being sent to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Research Institute in St. Petersburg for further tests but fans have been guessing who the eye might belong to on the Institute’s Facebook page.
We’re not sure who owns the deep blue eye, but we don’t think we’d be quick to pick it up on our Sunday morning walk! Fair dues to good old Gino!
