Adele has added to her already impressive award collection with the ‘Song of the Year’ BMI Award.
The singer, who has won umpteen gongs and taken the music world by storm over the last year and a half, was awarded the prize for her single Rolling in the Deep.
It was the most played track on US television and radio during 2011, amassing over 1.3 million runs according the BBC News.
As well as taking the ‘Song of the Year’ title home, the pregnant star also won two more awards for her hits Someone Like You and Set Fire to the Rain.
And it doesn’t look like the praise for Adele is going to stop anytime soon as her theme song for Skyfall, the latest James Bond film, has skyrocketed to the top of the iTunes chart.
Not bad for a 24-year-old, eh?
