Leighton Meester turns 29 today and this gives us the perfect excuse to chat about Blair Waldorf.
If you’re a Gossip Girl fan, you”ll know that Blair is not to be messed with and during the show’s run, she had some pretty amazing one-liners.
Here’s a few of the tips we picked up from the queen bee of New York’s social scene.

We can’t back her enough on this one. Tights should never be worn as trousers, it’s wrong for obvious reasons.

Yet again, Blair was on the money here, if you don’t believe that everything will work out the way it’s supposed to, then you won’t get anywhere.

You slept in, smashed a phone screen, lost your purse and missed the last bus. Then your cracked screen lights up with a message from a loved one and you remember there’s plenty to be happy about.

There’s a lot more to life and yet again Blair was quick to point this out. That said, the Blair and Chuck love story is a great one. SWOON.
