When Brazilian Nelson Felippe posted this picture to his Facebook page, we’re sure he didn’t anticipate for it to go viral within a matter of hours.

Indeed it wasn’t the picture that grabbed people’s interest, but what Felippe wrote to accompany it.

“I’m not prejudiced. I think people should do whatever they want to with their lives,” he wrote.

“But I think it’s absurd that I should be forced to witness a scene like this. What people do in private is their business only, but yes, what they do in public concerns me.”

“And I refuse to see a scene like and consider it normal. They’re challenging social conventions, and that can be dangerous,” the post continued.

“What if some tragedy strikes, or worse, if someone dies, who’s to blame? What would happen to a child who sees this scene every day?” he wondered, as readers became more and more infuriated.

However, it was only when they read on, that his clever message hit the target.

“Kids will think it’s normal to wait for the subway on the yellow line,” he wrote. “So don’t act like that guy over there. Follow the example of the girls.

“Stand behind the yellow line, and only cross the line after the train stops and the doors open.”
