National forecaster Met Éireann has predicted a weekend of settled weather with sunny spells.
Tomorrow looks to be dry and bright with the east and south of the country getting the most sunshine.
Met Éireann said:” Saturday night will be dry with clear spells.
“Some patches of mist or fog will develop overnight. Temperatures will fall to between 2 and 6 degrees.
“Easter Sunday will be dry with sunny spells and light variable breezes.
“Easter Monday will be dry also with sunny spells and light to moderate south to southwest breezes.
“Highest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees, warmest in Leinster”.
It’s thought that the good weather may even last into next week and while we don’t want to get too excited, hopefully this is a sign of things to come.
