Cheryl Fernandez-Versini may well be getting worried about her future on the X Factor this week as it has been revealed that Simon Cowell is reportedly auditioning another woman for the judging panel.
According to reports, the music mogul wants to ‘shake things up’ on the show and this has apparently left Cheryl concerned about her own future.
“We have been making the show for ten years and to make it popular, you have to refresh the show,” said executive producer Richard Holloway.
“There is an ongoing battle with Strictly. On overall volume they beat us last year. It has been a few years since we beat them on overall volume.”
Meanwhile, a source close to the show revealed: “Simon has seen people himself and it is now going to ITV and they are setting up meetings with his chosen women for a second interview.”
Of course, this could also be a replacement for Mel B on the judging panel and even veteran judge Louis Walsh – who has been on the show for 11 years – revealed on The Late Late Show at the weekend that he wasn’t sure of his future with the talent show.
